Customer satisfaction through a constant high quality. RUKO has lived up to this claim throughout its company history. RUKO OHG was founded in November 1974 in Böblingen. It was reorganised into RUKO GmbH Precision Tools in July 1980. At this time it also concentrated its activities on the manufacture of drilling and cutting tools..

« Quality as standard » The established RUKO quality has been confirmed once again with the DIN EN ISO
9001:2000 certificate for 2007-2010. The RUKO quality system was first tested and certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000, the highest level of accreditation, in January 1998. The DIN EN ISO 9001 system is based on not only perfect product quality, but also an integral quality concept in all corporate divisions. Innovative strength, reliability and quality matched to the requirements of industry and craftsmen are the hallmarks of our corporate philosophy. The special attention of the 120 employees in Holzgerlingen is aimed at our customers, because satisfied customers make us successful!

« Productivity » RUKO have some of the most up-to-date machinery with a high production capacity. With
the intention of achieving permanent increases in productivity, we are continually investing in the latest manufacturing technology and production plant. Fully-automatic CNC grinding centres, aided by CBN (cubic crystalline boron nitride) grinding techniques, permit maximum precision and repeatability in tool manufacture. This means that RUKO currently has one of the most up-to-date production methods in the world.

« Innovation » Our development department is constantly working to improve our existing products and
develop new tools to meet the demands of the market. From development (CAD) via CNC programming to production simulation, all work sequences are produced via modern networked computer systems.
The focus of RUKO’s activities in the near future, through also at the present, is in expanding and improving the entire range of metals.

The RUKO pneumatic tools - The benefits of compressed air
The cylinder forces and speeds can be infinitely adjusted. High working speeds can be achieved. Pneumatic appliances can be overloaded tostopping point without damage. Pneumatic tools are more simply designed than electrical appliances with a similar rating.
As a rule that makes them lighter than electrical appliances, thus reducing the physical strain of people working in production. With pneumatic systems, waste heat occurs almost exclusively at the compressor, unlike electrical systems with waste heat at local electrical drive units. As a work medium, air in its unprepared state is free and always available (unlike hydraulic oil, for example).
A "clean" work medium is available at the point of consumption. The exhaust air can be let off straight to the surrounding area, so there is no need for return lines. This leads to simple topologies of pneumatic line systems. Explosion protection (if all pressure vessels in the system are regularly checked) is ensured. Compressed air is not susceptible to magnetic pulses or atomic radiation.
